The Beauty of Java Programming - Portability

I've just been testing software out that I've developed and I've just come to realise how good Java is. The software was developed on Windows XP and I decided I wanted to run it on Linux. Within in 10 seconds via a VNC window and the help of Samba, it's running exactly the same way on Ubuntu Linux. Java is brilliant sometimes it really is.
