Hotmail DOES Work in Older Outlook Express

I thought that I had to use the Windows Live bloatware to receive my hotmail email on my computer. But it's not true, you can use older versions of Outlook Express. The problem is, Outlook will automatically pick the http mail download server as default if you enter a @hotmail.com email address - you just have to change this to pop3.live.com and smtp.live.com.
