Nokia N73 to be released in July 2006

Nokia have announced they will be releasing their photo-centric mobile phone, the Nokia N73, in July 2006. It comes with a fat 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics which is undoubtedly the big selling point of this device. The screen size is big at 2.4 inches (that's 240x320 resolution) so image previews will look nice.

The phone is quad-band, has 2 cameras (one at the front for video calls, one at the back for quality images) and is a Symbian Series 60 phone. The photo resolution will go up to 2048 x 1536 pixels which is good enough to produce high quality photo prints of 10" x 8" (25 x 20 cm).
